A new study is showing that the key to getting children to do better academically, is to increase the quality of their physical education. When it comes to school, parents know that it is very important for their children. Not only for their academic growth, but for their social development as well. However, school is only as good as the amount of knowledge children are taking away, and some can face struggles when learning. This means that professionals are always looking for ways to improve learning, and finding different ways of teaching to help children get everything they can from their classes.

According to Study Finds, a new study is showing that more active gym classes can help children get better grades in other classes, and this is especially true for math. Math is a subject that a lot of children (and their parents) struggle with.

This study was published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, and it can be read in full here. It was carried out in 11 countries, including Canada, Denmark, US, UK, Switzerland and more. It concluded that high-intensity sports and martial arts had a big impact on a child’s academic because they are considered “cognitively challenging.”

This means that researchers are stating that increasing the amount of gym classes a week is not enough, and that schools need to look at the quality of the lessons and make them “more intense.” This would also help students achieve the daily amount of exercise that is recommended by the CDC. To complete the study, researchers looked at data on the effects of physical education on brainpower. They found that when schools improved the quality of gym class, they boosted the brain power, and this was especially true for primary school children.

When they looked at places that that had just added more gym classes a week, there was very little change in a student’s learning. The researchers are calling for all to invest in their gym classes and look at improving the quality of the lesson, because it can have a direct impact on their learning and improve their grades. It truly seems like a win-win situation, because not only would a child’s grades and learning improve, but they would be getting more out of a gym class when it comes to their physical health. This is another way to make sure a student is completely well-rounded, and has every possible advantage when it comes to learning and grades.
